We understand that you want to perform the device shutdown in your Windows 10 pro workstation.
We would like you to follow the following steps by power off the device.
- Access BIOS
- Issue on of the following commands: Standby OR Standby immediate OR Sleep
- Wait until the Command Complete status is returned (around 60 sec).
- Terminate power to HDD.
Looks like you should shut them down appropriately.
