Gorilla Warfare Thanks man, I've got one. The problem I have now is that the computer won't boot at all. No beep, No Fans, the fans in the GPU do spin for a second and then shut down completely. I have the 685Watts power supply and saw some videos on youtube that says it should be sufficient or do I have to upgrade to an 825w??

Sanz Maybe, keep in mind that an 8 pin is 150W. Converting 6 to 8 is still 75W. You can try 2xSata power (2x72W) to an 8 pin before purchasing a new PSU.

Just for future reference. The Dell GPU cable uses 6 of the 8 pins. I got my meter out and the vga power port in the Dell is identical to an 8 pin GPU port. 2 grounds were not supplied on the Dell cable. I just got an EVGA 1070sc with a EVGA power cable. I plugged it in and it works perfect. If you have more than 1 8 pin port on your graphics card 8 suggest getting an eps 10 pin adapter to use the second cpu power port on our power supply instead of using thin little sata power adapters. It's not that they won't work but when they are calling for multiple power connections why not try and make them good ones.

Actually, the cable was fine, it was the card that was not all the way in....is working 100% now... I think I am going to sell the card, I have a 1660 Super and to be honest, I don't see a big difference.
