T5600 1300W psu, won't power on

I got a T5600 and needed to upgrade from the 635W psu to accommodate a beefier GPU. I was under the impression that the PSU's were the same as the T7600 and ordered a h1300EF-02 but now that it's here it won't power on when it's installed. The PSU's self-test works, but only when it's removed from the computer. I've tried everything up to completely removing the PDB and even with no cables installed and removed from the case and it acts the same.

The 635W still works and runs so the board and PC is fine.

I can't find any information on this issue, or really for the differences between these PSU's.

    • Gorilla Warfare Is there any information on 6MKJ9, T31JM, or V5K16? If not I'll go with a H3HY3.

For future reference, is there any resource on what makes these models non-interchangeable? Everywhere I looked the x1300ES-xx's  were listed the same as those three you listed, was there some mid-production switch that made the T7600's two different types of PSU's or is it just mislabeling T7610/7620/etc PSU's?

Not sure really , I have only had success with those 3 models. I own 2 5600's.

    • Gorilla Warfare Not yet. The place I'm buying from has a low shipping turn-around so it's about a week and a half to return it.

    • Gorilla Warfare For an update it works with the H3HY3. Still have some tweaking, gruntwork, and decisions to wade through before I have it fully running, but it's all working great.
