A few questions on about the T7600

Mine comes with two DVD-ROMs, one slim, one normal. I don't need two, but if I pull out the normal sized one, there is now an unsightly gap, is there a part I can get to cover that up that will match the "mesh" design of the rest of the front of the system?

Next question: The chipset is an Intel C602, so theoretically it should support v2 Xeons, but I can't find solid evidence this is accurate, anyone have first-hand experience with this?

  • The T7600 does NOT, in fact, support Ivy Bridge Xeons. I just tried with some inexpensive v2 Xeons and the system will not POST.

    • erik clod-svensson Right the T7600 will not support v2 Xeons, but the T7610 motherboard will and I was able to get it to work in the T7600 case.
