I'm trying to download latest drivers for the 1060 and there is 2 options 1 Game ready(GRD) 2 Creator Ready Driver(CRD) second option 1 Standard 2 DCH which should i choose? or if you have anymore tips will be appreciated.

  • What OS are you running?  I can link you to the latest driver w/Geforce Experience.

Once you have the latest Nvidia driver/Geforce experience installed you can use the Geforce experience to optimize the games for you based on your hardware.

Jbigticket23 Hi Jb much appreciated your reply my system is Windows 10pro I did downloaded the latest drivers but not sure if I selected the right option.

When you select your card model operating system there area couple more options on the list options 1 Game ready(GRD) 2Creator ReadyDriver(CRD).

      Second option 1Standard 2DCH

i would appreciated if you can show me how to optimise the card using Gforce experienc.

       Thanks you again

    I would like to share with you exiting news I bought HPZ800 2 x Xeon X5675, 48G ram,  260 Intel SSD and a Qaudro6000 manufactured 2012 for $525AUD

What more interesting about this that they advertise incorrectly as you can see in the image i accepted to get something a lot less and it came to me with a big surprise when i saw a Qaudro6000 and not a FX1800 and i was more happy to see Xeon X5675 instead X5670.

I just finished taking it in pieces giving it a good clean fresh thermal paste to the GPU and CPU's.

I tried the Qaudro6000 on gaming and it's ok much better than what i had in my Z600 Qaudro4000 but steal not the best.

Anyway this card can be overclocked and setup better for gaming?

  • Oded I wouldn't recommend a quadro card for gaming.  You could easily swap that card out for a recommended card on the Z800 blog page.  You could probably resell the Quadro 6000 to help offset the cost.  Nice find!

      Oded Hi Jbigticket

I’m planing to move the GTX 1060 From the Z600to the Z800but first tested the GPU for gaming and I may say I got ok results.

for older titles as Borderlands 2 and Borderlands Pre-Sequel run smoothly on 40-60FPS.

Fallout 4run on low but smoothly.

      Crysis 2wouldnt even start.

Fortnite could play on high but got only 30FPS.

    • Oded That's pretty typical for a quadro graphics card.  You'll get much better results from the GTX 1060.

Oded Hi i moved the 1060 to the HP Z800 the only problem I can’t fit the internal  cover back on because power connector from top had to close the case with out it.

      Does it really matters ?.

i find the z800 much more noisey than Z600 almost like a server is that normal?

    • Oded We haven't had any stability issues from removing the internal plastic cover on the Z800 workstation.  The system should be pretty quiet.  Have you tried installing a hardware monitor to keep an eye on the component temps?  You might be having some overheating issues.
