Electricity and Dell Precision computers

Hello,

I'm wondering what everyone is using to protect their Dell Precision systems from "dirty" electricity (Power spikes, surges, sags, brownouts, etc).  Examples are Surge Protectors, UPS, etc.

Thank you, in advance, for sharing what you use to protect your invest / Dell Precision.

Oh, for those with UPS:  What sizing, run time, etc did you go with for your UPS?

    In my case, I'm using:

KASA SMART WIFI POWER STRIP BY TP-LINK - 6 OUTLET SURGE PROTECTION, WORKS WITH ALEXA ECHO & GOOGLE (HS300). I purchased it through Smile.Amazon.com at:

  • I just use a regular old surge protector. As for runtime I leave mine on 24/7 even when I'm away from home due to my work schedule and set the bios to not power on after such events such as power failures.

    • Bertram Moshier Ah, sorry for misunderstanding.  While my original reply still stands for surge protectors, as for UPS, I haven't had a personal need for one in years.
