Z220 with gtx780

Hi all, I have a z220 and I'm trying to install an asus gxt780 OC that I got from a friend. I've installed a 650w power supply and the PC works fine with the Quadro gfx card it came with, but as soon as I replace that with the gtx780 I get nothing on the screen.

The only thing I can think of is that the fans are not running properly. They'll start then make a rattling noise like the bearings are stuffed, then they'll stop, wait, and try to start again, but I dunno if this can stop the card from displaying?

Is the z220 even compatible with this card?
