Z440 bios not recognizing NVIDIA RTX 2060 super
I don't usually have to ask for help, but I'm hoping someone might have a clue what is going on. I have recently been gifted a RTX 2060 super that im trying to put into my Z440. It is replacing a GTX 1660 super. When I put the card in I'm getting the dreaded 6 beeps with red led. I have the standard 600W power supply and from everything I've read the recommendation for this card is 550W. I know this card will work in the Z440 ive seen where others have gotten it to work. My questions are would the std 600W PS cause the 6 beeps or is it possibly a setting in the bios that is required for this card to work? The bios is current, M60 v02.59 3/31/22. I've gone through the various bios setting but nothing has stood out as a red flag as to why it doesn't work. Maybe something is the individual pci slot config? Currently everything is enabled or set to auto. To power the RTX 2060 i'm using the same 2 6pin to 1 8pin connector I use on the 1660 super and I've even swapped it out for new one just to see if the power connector is bad. Any help as to what to try next is appreciated. Thanks

The only thing I can possibly think of is that the MSI RTX 2060 card is bumping up against the chipset heatsink located to the right and under the main pci x16 slot. Even though it seems to seat properly the heatsink is not allowing the card to go all the way in. The lower pci slot is a no go because the card is too big and hits the cables on the lower bottom row of the motherboard let along the air flow problem this would cause. I built this machine to be just a render box on my network so putting the 2060 is my Z420 is ok too I just have to get a better CPU to fix my bottleneck issue. The downside is my gaming will be better and I will spend more time gaming than working :)
