T-1700 - Help - Who here can help?
Guys need your help. Recently put together a Dell Precision T-1700 that I acquired and I've upgraded the power supply to an EVGA 700 Watt power supply (works great), upgraded the RAM to 16 gigs (works great), purchased a EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 SC 6GB Graphics Card - however the issue I'm running into is this particular Dell T-1700 came to me as an OEM workstation with a Nvidia K600 1Gig graphics card as the main graphics card. The computer seems to have an embedded on-board intel graphics card but I cannot for the life of me get that to work (device manager doesn't see the onboard intel graphics chip). Cannot switch it in the BIOS(upgraded the BIOS and all drivers I could), cannot load the graphics driver from Dell's website using the Service Tag from the original build (keep getting an error that states "this computer doesn't meet the specifications...". Cannot run the K600 graphics card together with the EVGA GTX 1060. I need to get the embedded graphics card to work so I can get the EVGA GTX 1060 to work. This build is for my son, please can anyone help? Thanks
Paul

Paul DiBerardino You should not install the GTX 1060 and K600 graphics cards at the same time because they use conflicting drivers.
Also, the onboard video is normally disabled if you install a GPU in to one of the IO slots. If you remove the PCIe gpu's, and try to use the onboard gpu ports, you need to make sure that you have a CPU installed that supports onboard graphics. Most of the Xeon CPU's don't support onboard graphics.

go on device manager find quadro k600 on display adaptors, first try disable k600 (right click) restart, evga should start, do not plug anything to k600 of course, if no joy try uninstall device, before restart first turn off automatic windows update and keep it that way, restart evga should work, if no joy again evga might be faulty or not good seated or not in the right pcie slot a picture would help actually
