Dell T7810 PSU 1300w

Hi , previously asked this question on your YouTube channel .

I was wondering if dell T 7810 can accommodate psu of dell T7610 I i.e 1300 w power unit ? 

Idea is to use two quadro k6000.


is it possible ?

  • Yes , a PSU from a T7610 should also be compatible with the T7810.

  • H, Actually I got a reply from IT creation dell certified engineer , they are suggesting not to try that it may burn the motherboard. So don’t know if it is good idea to put 1300 w in dell 7810 .

  • IT Creation is right. 1300W power supply is compatible, but not designed for your computer. Your power supply supports graphics up to 300W. The 1300W power supply does support graphics up to 675W, but that power would probably burn the system board so I wouldn't advise you. If you do not need to put two graphics, one graphic will be enough for you. However, if these two graphics are necessary then put two GTX 1060 6GB or two GTX 1660 Ti and you will have no problems.
